I need help creating a new dip for last minute casual dinner. What can make with these ingredients?

I have some 4 friends coming over for dinner. I already have my ingredients for the dinner-a crab boil. But I just found out they will get here early for drinks. I don't have any appetizers planned, but now I want to offer a little food to go with the drinks. I Don't have time for another trip to the grocery store. I have white corn tortilla chips, so I thought I'd create a new dip to go with them based on what I have on hand.

I have:

Plain yogurt,

1/4 cup ricotta cheese,

assorted spices

lots of fresh basil

fresh tomatoes

miracle whip.

Any spinoff dip ideas based on any of these ingredients?I need help creating a new dip for last minute casual dinner. What can make with these ingredients?
try the yogurt, with basil, tomatoes, and maybe some lime juice?I need help creating a new dip for last minute casual dinner. What can make with these ingredients?
tomatoes in a blender with some fresh basil, salt, pepper, and add the puree into the ricotta.

It will be too thick....whisk it thinner with the yogurt.

use more salt than you normally would....most dips are heavy on salt.
The tomatoes and basil, even by themselves, could make for a decent non-spicy salsa. You might try some of the yogurt/cheese/miracle whip to add to the salsa to add some body. Olive oil could help as well. Basically, I would just play around with a few mixtures until you get something you like, then mix up a larger batch.
first and foremost- lose the whip!!!

take the yogurt and basil, fresh garlic(powdered will do) tobasco(or any tasty hot sauce) use the meet of the tomatoes(use as little juice as possible) salt/ pepper to taste....capers if you got any. prepare the yogurt with the ricotta if you choose.....i think it could be tasty. i would puree the yogurt the cheese and the tomatoes....then add finely chopped basil and season to taste....let me know how it goes...
