I am creating a database website. How can I create a searchable directory?

I am putting a website together listing internship opportunities for students (with the permission of the organizations, of course). I am using GoogleSites. How do I post the listings so that they can be found through a searchbox by people accessing the site? I am very confused, help!I am creating a database website. If you're going to create a database website that students can use a searchbox to find listings, you'll need to actually have a DATABASE to store your information and links, which I doubt that google will provide for you. Most free hosts will not have this. It'll be better to get paid hosting, and they'll provide you with database access, as well as the tools to help you to create your website.





Your best bet is to find someone who will make the website for you, preferably if they have prior web database experience. I am creating a database website. How can I create a searchable directory?
