How would I go about creating a package to sell?

that contains products made by other manufactuerers? Say I wanted to sell box lunches for hikers and the box contains a sandwhich, drink, chips, %26amp; cookie, but all those things were made by other companys like Subway, Coke, Lays, %26amp; Otis Spunkmeier. Do I need to get permission from those companys to use their product? Can I get special prices from them? Do I have to give them a cut of my profits? How would I go about creating a package to sell?
It would probably be best to contact the companies first. They may give you a wholesale price that you can upcharge on and make a profit, they are going to want their cost back at least. YOu may be able to work out a deal with them for a discount for the fact that your essentially helping build their brand by including it in a healthy lunch for hikers. Profits are yours, but the companies may influence how MUCH you can mark them up, they don't want to be associated with overpriced things..that would ruin their own brand equity.
