Any tips on creating a budget for those very tight on money with debts?

Do you know where i can get worksheets for this? Free of course!Any tips on creating a budget for those very tight on money with debts?
I dont know where you can get worksheets but I can give you a few tips.

The main thing is to be realistic. if you set yourself an unrealistic budget you will not be able to stick to it. What you should do is go through all your receipts for groceries etc and see what things you keep buying.

You should set aside some cash for junk e.g. about 10 bucks a week and you can spend that on junk food and at the dollar store and not feel guilty and not go overboard.

Get rid of your car. Many people waste so much money on a car. Payments, insurance, etc...

If you cannot live without a car, buy a reliable old car paid in full to get rid of your monthly car payment. Then you can get bare bones insurance that does not cover your car if it is your fault.

Also, quit eating out, live lean, don't be wasteful, do not be vain about it. There is nothing vain about filing bankruptcy.
Get down to your local library tonight and start checking out personal finance books - they can be wonderfully empowering and inspiring, and most are written in simple, easy-to-understand terms.

-The Complete Idiot's Guide to Personal Finance in your 20s and 30s

-The Complete Idiot's Guide to Managing Your Money

-“Smart Women Finish Rich” or “The Automatic Millionaire”, by David Bach (*excellent for people with debts! A lot about setting priorities!)

-any Suze Orman books
Read this Book - Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey. I read this back in August and he walks you through, step by step, how to get out of debt. It's a no frills book with a lot of grounded common sense.

There are a lot of sites offering free budget templates, but they felt very limited in scope to me. The budget on the following link worked really well for me, but I had to ';tweak'; it to allow it to anticipate my spending need several months from now.

Good Luck to you. But remember that a budget is of no use if you don't have a plan. Read the book and it will help you devise how you build your budget.
Check out a program for www.couponsense.com You will be amazed on how much you can save monthly on your groceries. It's not free, but you will save more money than you ever could imagine.
